Server-side or client-side: the real difference

This is the most important distinction for an organization mindful of how its data moves. CodeTwo offers a hybrid approach: a server-side mode that reroutes each outbound email through its Azure-hosted services to add the signature after sending, and a client-side Outlook add-in. CodeTwo states that, in its server mode, emails do not leave the Microsoft datacenters and are neither stored nor read.
